Gaming keyboards!
Hey all.
Just wondering, what keyboard would be good if I wanted extra keys to key bind certain skills to?
I have a http://www.razerzone.com/store/razer-blackwidow-stealth (Razer Blackwidow) currently. There's 5 extra buttons but they only work for macroing stuff via Razer Synapse.
Is there a way to make these keys act like a "real key" so I can bind them?
If not, what keyboard am I able to get to suit my needs owo?
I currently use 1 through =, with shift, Alt, and Ctrl + 1 through = for my keybinds...and I must say it's not really useful.
I'm looking into Corsair and Logitech. Just wondering what you guys are using!
Thank you! :3

With the synapse software you aren't just limited to macros, you can set those buttons to be any key or mouse function you would like. It's really impressive actually.
I should mention that their Orbweaver is pretty awesome for MMOs. I have been using that style of gamepad since their N52te and I can't go back lol. It may look intimidating but it's easy to pick up in all honesty and a lot more comfortable than using a keyboard.
I use my orbweaver in combination with an ouruboros mouse for a combination of 24 keybinds personally.

Actually, I am using the Ultimate version of what you have ^^ I am enjoying it so far!! I used to play with my pre Windows Key Keyboard I used with my Windows 3.1 Computer. I think if you try to keybind the keyboard Macro buttons it should work.
Haven't tried it yet though so I'm not sure...

I've personally been using a merc stealth gaming keyboard for a good 6 or 7 years now. I'm pretty sure at this point I couldn't go back to anything different. I've only had to replace it once in that time as well.

I pair this with a Razer Naga mouse for a rather ridiculous number of easily accessible key binds. The only gripe I have with the Naga is that, in my experience, they tend to wear out a lot faster than they should for spending $80 or so. But, again, I'm just so used to using it by now that I'd rather not go with something else.

You guys are awesome... I have troubles just for moving my character with the annoying w,a,s,d stuff... I can't really imagine myself playing a game with just the keyboard... (I'm glad FFXIV is so damn awesome wonderful adapted to gamepad).
I can't imagine a melee class moving a lot using keyboard, damn, I can't.

The razer blackwidow has a lot of problems, it kept pressing keys on its' own >.>.
I've moved onto a Corsair vengeance micro keyboard :). Corsair has amazing designs. The standard version has macro keys, I didn't buy that once because I don't use those keys :p.

i use the Logitech G19 and love it

For big hands, the Logitech G600 is better than the Naga. Naga is like more fitted for females and small hands.
