Do all events come back eventually?

I'm wondering, is there any chance that The Rising will happen again? Maybe next year? I'm just bummed I missed out on a new emote due to school, etc. I'm also a bit bummed that the ghost costumes weren't purchasable this year for All Saints' Wake, which begs another question... Are some items and emotes lost forever to players who can't participate? And what about new players? Will they never get a chance to get these items and emotes? It all seems a bit unfair and stingy to me.

They will probably add them to the cash shop instead of bringing them back, for example look at this year's Halloween event, the items from last year were not available from the npc. Instead they added them to the cash shop. Also even if events do come back they may also have different rewards than the previous year, example again is this year halloween event.

they used to events like lightning event n dragon quest anniversary have been on a few times but dont know if they will again since the mini cash shop etc ;/

I don't think the crossover events will be back but I'm pretty sure the Rising was labeled as seasonal.

Yeah rising waa definate labeled seasonal so that should be back, as for others like XI XIII DQ cross overs not so sure, then again lightning has returned so many times now that she bought a house in the mist ward

There's also a chance the developers will launch something at the game's anniversary in September, although it's likely to only be the most memorable/popular events. I can't say if Rising will be among them.

It's really likely that the seasonal events - eg The Rising, All Saint's Wake, Moonfaire, etc. - will come back every year.

However, there's no guarantee that the items from past seasonal events will be available again.
