Just wondering about your opinion on this:
The devs should implement mechanics that REQUIRES a player to die and be raised in future fights.
For example, a confuse Debuff that cannot be cleansed by anything other than death; a doom status that cannot be removed on the main tank; a character becomes a walking bomb that will wipe the party unless killed.
I'm thinking that for endgame fights like Final Coil and Savage Coil, mechanics like this could fit their way in. Give it some thought, and you will realize raise/resurrection is never a necessary skill. Currently, to the best of my knowledge, all fights can be cleared without someone ever having to die. The raise/resurrection skill is far from useless, but never essential. What if that all changed, and it became just as essential as a cure spell?
