How hard are they (The Off-Hands I meant of course)?
Any special suggestion other than using the standard 3* Hasty Touch rotation?
Thanks :)

Just as easy as a normal 3 star without all HQ mats. Really 3 stars are trivial at this point considering most of us have supras and perfect melds at our disposal.
Optimum Melds should be 3x Craft IV and 2x Control IV right? .....I foresee blood ;_;
At least that's what gets you to 4* requirements without FC buffs and still gives you room to use CP Food.
You could do that if you have tons of gil and IV materia to burn but it's completely unnecessary. You only need 15 Craftsmanship and 7 Control to hit the 4 star requirements or 15 Craftsmanship and 4 Control with the i70 Ixali gloves (assuming you have your Supra and other gear max melded). I personally melded Control IV, Crafts III x3, CP III on my offhand and use the Ixali gloves to hit the 4 star requirements. Reasoning for the CP III is that I value that extra CP and eventually plan on replacing my left side for Artisan left side gear which will be more than enough to hit the 4 star requirements without the Ixali gloves.
You start at around 700 quality with all HQ mats, 80-90% is where you should be if you have a solid 3 star rotation.
Iv'e made 3 tools so far. Small sample space. 1 was 98% HQ. The other 2 were around 80%. Those last two I had "not so good luck." Thankfully, at this point, my BSM already had supra and OH tool melded. So the "bad luck" was mitigated a little bit by needing one less progress step due to the extra craftsmanship I had.
Just keep in mind that if you have enough bad luck, the RNG will eat you up.
