Nice job!
Anyone else mute the second half of the video?
Good job btw. :D
nice video .... BUT... i ever asked myself why people put their Bars RIGHT into the middle of the screen...
i mean you block your view completely on your own..
sorry i dont get that.. maybe you can tell why. and im really interested in^^
do you play a game for looking at the user interface or watching the scenery? dont get it..
It's very common to tunnel in on the party list... I mean it's their job... "Watch the condition of your party members and react accordingly." Because of this healers often fail to worry about themselves. They don't see what is going on around them because they are so focused on doing their specific role.
By moving the party list and focus targets closer to your character model, you have a much clearer vision of what's going on around you while you focus on doing your job. I prefer to heal with a similar UI placement where the party list is very close to my toon. #justahealerthang
Youmadesca here.
I'm permabanned from the forums for some unknown reasons, so i'll answer using Flare as an intermediate.
Pretty much what Jonny says. i've always been a healer on every MMO i've been, and it's just more convinient to slap the party list right under my face to gain in reactivity for healing and whatnot. Also, having the party list close to the center of the screen (aka my char) allows me to pay attention to aoes and stuff like that while i can snap an eye to the health of everyone.
Nice job.
Mine are on the right of the screen where my cure spells are with main target and my bar above with focus to the left of the party list, this seems so work best for me. I'm also on ps4 so as long as I'm on the right hotbar it's pretty much just memory at that point.
