This is just a quality of life thing I would like to see. The icon is too small to really make out what it is. Often time when I buy it, then it turn out not what I expected because of the details and the small picture size.
Then I have to sale it back or live with it. Even making it slightly bigger would help tremendously. Right now I have to rely on website to make out the details of the items. The problem is, not all the items is listed on the site and I shouldn't have to do this.

Best thing I've found for housing items so far is to look at www.xivdb.com for photos submitted by players.
Just search for the item, scroll down and usually there's 1-2 pics at the bottom.
What I do is walk around the neighborhood and look at the items.
The closest was the Eorzea Collection 2014, which had pictures of all the furniture up till patch 2.3.
Really wish they have an e-book version of sorts with new chapters released following every patch.
...can we please have "quality of life" housing first?
