Levequests - Bloody Knife Blades unobtainable

I just spent all 99 of my allowances on leves to get Bloody Knife Blades.
Result: 0
Must be AK coffers only

This and this say it drops from the chest near the last switch before the Giant Bavarois boss in Wanderer's Palace.

I have gotten one from an alchemist levequest. Quick half a mil gil :)

My friend got a pair in Wanderers Palace, got our friend to make the base for the relic for under 10'000 gil, much cheaper than the half a mil being demanded on the market board.

Hello, they can indeed be obtained from level 45+ alchemy levequests, I have got 6 of them so far (lucked out and got three from a leve that had repeatable hand ins), I believe the leve I eventually got them from was 'A Matter of Vital Importance'. Sounds like you just had terrible luck unfortunately.
