It seems most 2.4 cast items are giving spell speed. As a main summoner every time I see spell speed on anything it sickens me and now once again it's being shoved down our throats. If the stat helped the class in ANY way it would not be a big deal but it is literately the most useless state to a summoner.Christ sake, make spell speed effect how fast our dots tick or something if your going to give us this much.
Bad for SMN, good for BLM. I will bet if this is the case left side BiS for SMN will be the Dreadwymn gear.

That's how the weathered bard stuff was with 2.3, except with skill speed (but same thing). I'd look at the gear over and over with all these soldiery tomes saved up and be like 'What the hell do I buy?' My main class still has two i90 items because it made no sense to trade off Crit for even more skill speed.
Same questionable logic at play I'm afraid to look at the stats now.
