so... the mount practically cost about same as buying an XI expansion.

Btw, those halloween stuff they put in cash shop kinda meh... I mean, why selling things that was available in game in first place?

Around 20$+ is the normal price for a mount in other MMO's for example WoW.

So is it confirmed for sure that there's no way to earn the minions in-game, except to buy them from the cash shop? I want them but I don't want to spend the cash if there's an alternate way to earn them.

Not unless SE goes back on their word. At worst, they'll add a slightly different version of the same mounts and minions to the game because it's SE.

Yup. SE is simply being competitive.

Besides, Yoshi-P said the cash shop is a means to give back to the community. Which is something to consider when you are about to buy a mount that nears the cost of the base game.

So do not hold back; buy everything!
