Balmung - Is anyone online?

some servers seem to be working fine. Balmung and Excalibur are reporting error 1017.

my question is, is anyone even on the servers?

They just released posts - Balmung, Excalibur, Bahamut, Tonberry, and Chocobo - all broken - no eta - they just added Jenova and Garuda to the broken list

I know people that are online. I can't get online, though.

Got in long enough to buy a plot, tried to switch characters and can't get back in. Seems to be intermittently working, and more of a problem with actually getting in than the world itself once you are.

please dont be one of those despiseable being that buy multiple plots of the cheap ones just to take a dump in other peoples morning coffee

Kind of a rude assumption, assuming this was to me (if not, I apologize, but since I'm the only one in the thread who's mentioned buying one...). No, I bought a plot on one character, after saving for months to get it just like many others (my first and only house, I'd like to add) - and then went to switch to my main to check out the new recipes. Couldn't buy a second house if I wanted to.

I managed to buy a small plot of land in Mist ward 3, before I got some windows fatal error and crashed out XD now playing with 1017

Pretty much everyone in my FC has been able to login, but I'm STILL getting 1017s, have been for the past 40 god damned minutes too. I was also just told someone else logged in as I was getting a 1017, whats the issue SE? Dont want to let certain people online?
