The economy was doomed to be ruined on patch day by the extremely hasty/dedicated crafters. I for one welcomed the preliminary patch notes because I often find myself going broke on day one of patch. Early release of notes helped me to dodge that bullet! :)

oh nose not the economies what are you going to do now that you cant exploit the rare shinys because people who complain about something that can make something drop more is more worried about that sort of stuff.

He didn't need to apologize. He doesn't control the players.

The people who whined about this are likely mad they couldn't make it to the market boards in time before they were bought out.

And lets take 2 seconds to think. - This would have happened right after the game went live anyway. :/. Someone explained it in another post but this was more beneficial than detrimental.

Early patch notes was a good thing as I stated in another post. I don't think it was an accident, I think SE was testing the water and giving anyone behind the curve a chance to get mats before the patch day with no real harm to the MB. The harm would have come today if the notes weren't out before and players with gil bought the boards clear. 3 Days early allowed ppl to sell off mats or buy them, it allowed players to myth farm for mats to sell at a much higher than normal price. I think what happened was good all around. It will help the MB trasition into patch 2.4. Note the revised patch notes reduced the GC seals needed to buy coke, peacock ore and things like that. I don't know when the change was made but I spent all my seals on GC mats and would have saved them if I saw the lower number. Having all this info out as a "mistake" but leaving out a large drop in GC mats cost. Yeah, no mistake there on the notes, just giving us prep time weather we craft or not.

So, it's a big deal that this happened today instead of Wednesday?
