With the new Artisan's gear coming, they're all gonna look exactly the same, aren't they? We can't even glamour them differently since they share items...
If so, that's a bit sad. Gosh I wish glamours were job specific instead of item specific.

Does this mean we can finally have some upgrades? lol
Imagine how clogged the armory chest would get if each class including doh/dol had their own armor.
I look forward to the day I can have one set of gear for all hand classes. I much rather have the simplification of one gear set than the uniqueness of eight.
My only non 50 is FSH... I have gear for everything on me at all times. 19 spaces in my armory chest is taken up at all times + extra stuff I have on me just because... its getting cluttered. Though I would miss not being able to have different colors for all of them like I do now.
It would definitely be preferable if they'd used per-class glamour tabs, but this is a small price to pay to not have to carry around 11 separate gathering/crafting sets.
We still don't know if they'll have materia slots. If they do, then sharing a set between all will save a fortune...
Somehow I hadn't really considered that. I don't have any of my crafters melded on the left side right now, though I'd been meaning to do it, just hadn't decided which was the lucky one (or two...hypothetically -- I can't afford anything after buying a house and building a Novus). I really wish they had done glamours differently for this very reason (well, initially it was because I wanted different hats on my gatherers). Still, saving an additional 28 slots in the armoury chest will be nice.
My LHS gear is all optimally melded for DOH, and nearly so for DOL. That's a lot of items to convert to materia if I need more :)
