Class/Job weapons

So with Rogue and Ninja having different weapons (Daggers and Mudra), what could this signal to us regarding future jobs--if it suggests anything at all?

They don't have different weapons. Daggers are the weapons both rogues and ninjas use while mudra are skills unique to ninjas. Use a combination of mudra to unleash an attack.

Hmmm. I definitely misread that, thought the looks of the weapons certainly would lead people to such a line of thought.
