PLD + Heavy

I've ran into a few PLDs these past couple days in FL that had heavy. The question is how? At first I thought I was crazy because I he hit me with shield lob and it applied heavy?

How does PLD have access to heavy?

You were on a mount.

And if you weren't on the mount, it's possible you lagged during dismount, 'causing it to apply anyway. Other than that, PLD does not have heavy.
