some tool that measures only our own DPS? Just like we can get to see the % hp from any enemy, I want to know how much DPS I'm putting up on every boss, I don't want to harass anyone and I don't want anyone to be harassed, I just want something that tells me how much DPS I do so that I can:

1 - Realistically know if I'm doing well or not.
2 - Compare it with other people that are also interested in numbers.

I don't support elitist douches harassing people that play this game more casually, but I don't agree either in excluding the entire console player database in knowing if they play their class efficiently.

I constantly hear how people say "I do 300-400 DPS with my MNK, SMN etc." and it makes me very pissed because I can't know mine on my PS4.

Same here. I don't use parser and I never will because I hate 3rd party programmes but I would love to know my DPS to see how much I am improving. And I believe that implementing something like that should not be problem at all.
