Launcher crashing and giving me an error code.

Hello hello!

I'm sorry to make my first post on here a technical support one but I'm dealing with a lot of frustration at the moment.

Whenever I try to launch ARR, the game client will sit and think for a little bit (where it used to automatically load up the log in screen) and, for the past few days, I've been receiving an error message on it of "error has occurred -2146697211."

Despite some serious searching on Google, I've turned up nothing about this issue and I've tried to delete my most recent updates in hopes that it'd clear things up for me, but it still hasn't fixed the issue.

More often than not, it takes me a few tries before I can get to the log-in screen and be able to get into the game. The game itself is running fine for me (apart from hardware issues from my laptop power cord but that's something else entirely); it's simply that I'm having issues with the log in portion of playing.

Any advice would be helpful! I'd rather not uninstall and reinstall if I can help it but I'm considering that possibility either way if a developer or someone with more game knowhow than what I have has no answers for me.
