Changes to the Map

One of the things that has been my main reason for not playing this game is the inability to locate things on the map.

It seems the only way to locate the location of levequests is to go to your journal, pick the quest you want and press the map button. It then shows you where it is on the map, but if you aren't in the same area (you're in a city, levequest location is out of the city) then you can't figure out a route to your destination.

You also can't seem to be able to view your leavequest location just by opening the world map if you aren't in the same area. What I feel needs to be done is (like on other MMO's) right click to go one area back from where you are, and click to re-enter towns, different areas, etc. Your location should always be shown on the world map, no matter how far zoomed out you are. There should also be a zoom feature on the map, just to make things more navigable.

The locations of places on the map are simply written in small writing - things should be marked with an icon that you can mouse over to get a description of what it is.

This would be such a small change, easy to implement into any patch but I feel it would make a world of difference. Give me some thought, anyone agree or think it should be done in a different way, or any other improvements to the map?
