High End Housing Items Break if Move, Plans to Change This?

Currently if you have a private house and you have any number of rare items in it, Projection/Purification Module, Regal Letter Box, any primal item etc, if you want to upgrade to a bigger house, or just change plot you cannot take these with you. They break completely if you remove them.
Why is it that the most expensive housing items bind to plot and not to player and are there any plans to change this in the future? It is rather frustrating to want to upgrade to a bigger house but be unable to do so without losing 10-15 mil worth of items.
Surely it wouldn't be too hard to make them bind to the player like every other housing item?
Can we please get an official stance on this and find out if there are any plans to change this?

If they didn't want it to bind to house, they probably wouldn't have made it that way to begin with.

It does suck, and I don't know why they made it that way, but if they were going to change it, they most likely would not have made them spontaneously combust on pick up in the first place. :/
