All Worlds Emergency Maintenance (Oct. 21)

Out of curiosity, anyone knows what the emergency is?

Routine (maybe with a bit of preparing for 2.4 too).

Hmm. If it's routine, they would have titled it "All Worlds Maintenance" instead of "All Worlds Emergency Maintenance". Ahh well. Whatever. It's probably to fix a bug or exploit with the Halloween event.

surprise we are releasing patch 1 week early XD..

I know its not quite true it would of been an 8 hour or something but when i read that i shot straight to forums hoping lol

Having done the Halloween FATE a few times, there is a bit of an issue where two phases of the FATE have NPCs positioned in a weird way so that it's impossible to do anything without getting your illusion dispelled, causing you to have to run back to the Illusionist, reapply your illusion, then run all the way back to the FATE. I don't think it's currently possible to get higher than Silver in that FATE for that reason, but I could be wrong.

They may be tweaking odin or the modified frontlines battle they used for london fanfest later this week. Maybe a few to many odin shirts were won, I saw tons of them.

Eh the truth is when it comes to those battles it's knowing the loophole to win and for Odin it was silencing Einherjar that seemed to be the most effective. Once players knew that they could silence that move they had an easier time winning before that they had to pray/evade/deal with all the moves thrown at them but learning they could at least nulify one ability helped them.

Pretty much it's the same concept as the use of silencing that one chimera moves which name slips me atm but when you don't silence it it's harder and when you are able to follow through and silence said move it makes the fight much easier to manage.

I got gold last night, it gives 6 cookies. Hopefully they're making it so people can't spam Medica II and get credit anymore.

That looks more like Cure III or Medica II than Esuna. But still, that needs to be fixed.

Should be fixed yeah, effortless way to get Gold. XD
