They don't work on furniture, sadly.

Tried, it doesn't let me. (Atleast for the metallic silver)

They should fix this, it's dye it should work on all dyeable items.
It also makes me think that you wouldn't be able to make your chocobo these colors, does anyone know for sure?

If Choco Racing/Breeding is anything like FF7 (like they said it would be), I bet the golden choco will be an easter egg that is kind of the 'endgame' of it..... or~~~ it'll be 19.95 in the cash shop.

If a gold/silver/white/black chocobo does become a thing, there will likely be special instant-color change feed like the Han Lemon as prizes for the chocobo races. Saying it'll be $20 in the cash shop sounds very cynical.

Yes I'm being cynical but at the same time its still a very real possibility. Anything that isn't main story/progression is up for the slot of vanity in a cash shop. Cash shops always start small in any game, but they grow, this one will too. How much of course no one can say yet. Anywho, was meant to be a dark humor joke based on our current forum wars, not meant to derail the thread.

It made me chuckle lol.

I hope Gold Chocobo is difficult to obtain & not purchasable.

Why assume it's broken? They specifically made it not work; it's an intentional message when you try it that was made specifically for those dyes. They don't want it used like that.

Metallic silver would look great on some tables or benches, especially the outdoor ones.
