Higher Class XP Bonus...
So, I understand there is a bonus for having one class at a higher level. However, I'm not sure what this bonus actually is. I did some basic testing on my own, and it seems that you get the same bonus as long as one of your classes is of a higher level. However, I can see systems that would confuse the quick tests I did.
I'm just wondering if I should power level Arcanist to 50 first, or if it merely being at 40 provides the same bonus to level up all the other classes to 30. So does the bonus XP increase the bigger the disparity between your highest class and your current one? Or is it a simple 'on/off' kinda thing, and you get the same bonus whenever you're not playing your highest level class?

Hello,
It is just a flat 50% bonus you get when leveling a class lower that another in that same type (so DoW will not cross with DoL/DoH), and that higher class does not have to be level 50, it just needs to be higher. The perk is known as "Armoury Bonus".
Cheers,

Alrighty, cool. I love leveling tons of classes, so I'm glad there's nothing compelling me to stick with a class any longer than I want to.
Also, I assume that "Same Type" places Disciples of Magic and Disciples of War under the same banner? Or does Lancer not benefit from my higher level Arcanist?

They all fall under the same banner as you said. So having a leveled up Dragoon will help in leveling up a Summoner etc.

Having any combat (DoW/DoM) class that's at least 1 level higher than your current combat class means you'll get the bonus.
It doesn't apply to crafting or gathering classes, though.
