Why are there no release dates, screenshots or announcements about the thing that should be the largest priority for FFXIV? Are you really going to keep showing off trailers for the expansion in crusty DX9?
Since we are all childish and petty and would rather that they spent our money on developing things that look good (vanity mounts + minions) rather than content, can't they make good on a promise and fix the disturbing lack of decent anti-aliasing etc?

At last TGS Live letter, yoshi have say that DX11 client will be release at best at end of this year(December) , when was on TGS yoshi have stated they have a running version that work but wasn't optimized at all. So they was needing to optimizing it and checking with NVIDIA engineer about it.
Also Yoshi have stated that DX11 client was only improving water for those that know how that work -

It's not only 'improving water', it's a really important feature for functionality and will improve the quality of the game on high end machines considerably. There likely are water tesselation effects or something like that, but I don't think that'll be it. I'm not working for SE , I know how work DX11 to playing sometimes with the framework , and that is SE choice to not release videos or image of it , like it or not.
Like I have said Yoshi have say at best that will be december but that can also be the worst and can be when 3.0 hit.
