Dragoon's role in the new expansion (And the future for other job storylines)?

Do you think there's going to be a significant/notable amount of cross-over between the Dragoon questline and the expansion content? I mean of course the teaser trailer is basically a hype vehicle more than an actual preview, but it's still something.

I'm glad that there might be (Or eventually be) overlap/cross-over between storylines in the game. In-fact I think it's actually very health for the plot and would indicate a step in the right direction for the storytelling of the game. If a players job offered some unique dialogue during various questlines for instance, much like how returning to talk to various NPCs results in different dialogue at times.

If the story ever shifts to Ala Mhigo Monk could be an obvious focus, Doma - NIN (or SAM), but what about the older jobs that have their ties basically in the areas that already exist (Paladin in Ul'Dah for example, or White Mage though Amdapor allows for an expansion of their lore quite easily depending on how SE chooses to run with it).

So what do you guys think? Should SE look to go in this direction of sort've interweaving stories, would they realistically do so?

Well the story hints that one of the Main Antagonists of 3.0 will be the Dragon our character is trained to be destined to kill as the Azure Dragoon.

There will probably be slight dialogue changes based on if characters completed the lvl 50 Dragoon quest or not due to the link between Dragoon Job story and this new Antagonist.

They can finally start raising themselves, by sacrificing a Warrior.
