Thoughts on implementing a trade/sell advertisement board

It seems like this practice isn't ever going to die down but I'm finding it increasingly annoying when I open up Party Finder only to find a majority or half of the recruiters simply advertising a sell run, a house sale, crafting services, selling dyes, etc. Would be nice if the devs could implement a window where players can advertise certain wares/services without cluttering the Party Finder window.

and people using PF for such things affect you how?

I don't go down the cereal aisle to purchase shampoo and 10 pounds of steak. This suggestion is simply a way to keep things better organized.

it's annoying and unnecessary. That should really be all the justification for the OP's suggestion, which makes sense.
Though I wish more of them would just use the official forums for that kind of stuff.

Not at 1st, but when you get the message that 20 parties are looking for members and 14 of them are "buy my crap" then it tends to get annoying. it still does not bother me but having to skim through so many advertisments just to find an actual battle does take more effort then it should. filters do help tho. so long as you are looking for a specific battle.

Even though the suggestion is nice, because yes, it is, I will point out that you can apply a filter to yours searchs in PF. If you're looking for something in specific, it helps, if you're browsing the list to check what's up, then well... just ignore the people selling/advertising stuff.

I've always wanted the market board to include a brief little custom description on the item you are selling, like a small 50 character post "I infused this with Gather's Guile for extra GP for the lols"

I agree, it is annoying and disheartening to see that kind of stuff.

I propose: Make it a ban worthy offense, or give them a stern warning that can escalate to a ban: If the player continues to misuse the PF.
