Upgrading From Entry to Standard Subscription for Game Card

Hello, everyone. I just need some clarification on something here.

I used Paypal as a means to pay for my subscription for this game, but now that it is no longer available I have to resort to other means. Imagine my joy when I found out that Game Time Cards were being sold in Canada! Now, while this sounds all well and good, I need to upgrade from the Entry Level subscription to the Standard Level. To do that, I apparently need to pay a 46¢ fee, which I cannot do unless I ask a family member to help me out.

Their main concern is after paying for the subscription upgrade, will SE still take money from their credit card even after I use the Game Time Card? I thank you in advance for reading this thread, and I wish you all a wonderful day.
