This issue just occurred to me about the new class (and future classes)...

I was sitting on a rock of my FC house's pond, whining as the good Italian girl as I am, of my inventory woes. I have all classes leveled, and carry all the equipment for each all the time.. that's when the thought occurred.

"Man, this is gonna be even worse when I unlock Rogue."

EEEP! Please tell me the Armoury Chest is getting an upgrade as we get new classes in 3.0 and beyond!! :eek:

Well, it'll be an issue only for the weapon. Ninja will most probably use the same gear as Monk, light armor.
Same as BLM and SMN, WHM and SCH, PLD and WAR. Along the same line musketeer (if it ever come out) will probably use the same gear as Bard.

I think all the type of gear are already there: Tank/Heavy armor dps/Light Armor dps/Ranged dps/Caster dps/Healer

What bother me most is the gear I kept on my retainer only for the glamour, for that I hope the armor book they intend to release will allow the use of glamour of previously acquired armors.

This. Between crafting sets, PVE, and PVP sets, my Armoury Chest is way too convoluted.

If AF2 are quest rewards, they would be storable in the armoire (in the next main patch after AF2 come ingame)

Yes, but here we're talking about gear on the need, not gear to store. It'd still be pretty cramped for me to bring along AF for 10(12 when 3.0 comes?) different classes along with all the DoH/DoL stuff.

Tanks and healers can share the same gear (except myth) fortunately. The real issue, for me, is the rings. I hope they increase inventory size for the rigs atleast.

I don't really know what they were thinking when they implemented a 25 item limit and disallowed unequipping items to one's own inventory bag. A number of times, I've tried to equip something new, only to be told I can't because my armoury chest is full. Meanwhile, I have several slots in my inventory right next to the item I'm attempting to equip (which, when equipped, will provide another empty slot) so space should not be an issue. The entire system is far too inflexible if it can't even deal with equipment going into your bag on your own back.

Nothing about armoury chest expansion (nor new methods of storing either) in today's streaming. I hope to hear something about it tomorrow X_x; ...
