Hey guys. I'm currently on the Famfrit server and am trying to switch to Jenova since all my friends are on that server. My problem is that while I'm at the Mog Station/World Transfer Service web page, the "select state" drop down menu does not have an option to select Jenova. Very confused.
Any help would be appreciated.
Maybe they have put a stop migrate/create on Jenova but haven't officially said anything?
Otherwise, not sure. I checked my Mogstation account and Jenova isn't on the list either - despite the fact that all of the other Aether servers are listed. I know the official instructions say:
"・To transfer a character to a World belonging to a different data center, you must select your desired destination World and proceed to the in-game character selection screen at least once. From the title screen, select Data Center and choose the data center that houses your desired World, then Proceed. When the Character Selection screen appears, select World at the upper right and choose your desired World from the list.
* This process is required even if you have not yet created a character on your desired destination World. "
Maybe that has a part to play in it. Not home to verify.
From what I was aware, Jenova, along with the other two servers added to the game with the release of the PS4 version earlier in the year (Shinryu and Zodiark) are currently permanently locked to character transfers (so as to allow their economies to establish). SE will eventually remove that restriction, but when that will be is anyone's guess.
So at the moment sadly, you can only create a new character on Jenova, and cannot transfer an existing one to it I'm sorry to say.
Damn. That's a little frustrating. Oh well. New character it is.
