May we please have them SE?
Of course, certain Bardings shouldn't be dyeable (Odin/Primal), so perhaps implement some new simple Adventurer's Bardings.
Dyeable Shields would be sick too, at least certain portions of them... especially with the new Metallic Dyes.
Haha, I could even go so far as suggesting certain Minions be dyeable (I want a blue Apkallu!) lol.
Bardings: I'm not sure how this would work - dying the entire set at once, or dying each individual piece after using the set. I'm inclined to want the latter - but since Grand Company bardings shouldn't be dyed, I think what we CAN dye will be extremely limited.
Shields: Aside from having 90% of the PLDs sporting metallic gold from the free dyes that everyone is getting tomorrow (*shudder*), this wouldn't be a bad idea.
Minions: That's animal abuse D:
As both crafter and fighter I would like them add choc armour with stats, maybe even materia slots. I'd love to be able to gear up my choc with meaningful hq gear that affects its performance.

Most of the shields are very plain, dull or downright nasty looking. Colors would help but this game could really use some more creative and visually appealing shield designs.
+1 especially for dyeable Minions lol.
They should be nameable too...
The Bard-dying idea could be interesting. But like was already said, the GC bardings should remain undyeable.
If Shield-dying would be a thing, I would also go so far as to make a request for weapons to be dyable.
Proper FC (or even personal) shield crests would go a long way to making the shields more interesting
