Can't access lodestone website or game.

I got kicked from the game (during coils)and now can't access the lodestone website or the game. I get the system error -2146697211 and then it lists the website frontier.ffxiv.com when I try to load the launcher.
Obviously this is weird as I can still access the forums, I'm gonna get onto virgin media in the morning and see if it can be fixed from their end but I ain't holding out any hope.

change your pc's or consoles DNS settings to 8:8:8:8, this is google dns and will bypass any broken domain caching systems your isp uses.

Ok, the problem solved itself with time, hoping it doesn't happen again and if it does, i'll try the dns settings.
