If SE put up one server of final fantasy 14 1.0 would you go back?

Hello everyone, just a fun question. So basically as the title asks, if square enix restarted a server of 1.0 meaning graphics and world with all the updates of 2.0 meaning only content would you go back to the world of 1.0?

Me honestly.. I would.. Just for the wide open world and beautiful graphics. No offense I love playing 2.0 don't get me wrong, it's just, watching youtube vids of 1.0 and remembering the puzzle of the black shroud and figuring out how to get to grindania for the first time, I mean 1.0 just seemed so deep.. Like mind boggling deep at times.1.0 was just so beautiful I remember watching the sunrise in thanalan it was just breathtaking, I have never seen a mmorpg look that beautiful.

Anyway it's just a fun thread please no bashing simple yes or no and why or why not.

Yes, for 1.23. Sigh, wish they'd change the progression of this game...I've since quit, but maybe they will someday fix things :/

Why try to fix what isn't broken? Just because YOU don't like something, doesn't mean its broken.

It's fun to watch some of the older videos again, but watch is about as close as I want to be when it comes to 1.0.

Now I will say I do miss the "weight" of our character attacks. However, it's a trade off since usually adding more weight means animation locks and/or lots of sliding as animations tend to be longer. I like the quicker pace we have in 2.0. So, it's trade off I'm willing to accept. I know people complain about momentum missing as well. Anyone remember recently where controller users were complaining about running not going instantly? Yeah that's what momentum build up felt like. Need to get out of the way? Nope, have to do a jog first and then run.

The music? I like and dislike various songs from both 1.0 and 2.0. Music isn't something that's going to keep me playing a game or for that matter prevent me from playing.

At the end of the day, the public voiced their opinion and deemed 1.0 a failure. However it doesn't mean all the elements of it were. Just the combinations of it. It's up to SE to continue to try and test various elements from past games they've developed or from other games totally to try and appease the greater public.

But to want to play 1.0 again? No, I'll pass thank you.

Yes if it's a mix of the two, the actual class and gear systems are just plain boring, 1.0 did a lot better in those areas.

I would play 1.0 again, for the memories :)
