I know this should have been asked a while ago, but I've not thought about it properly until now
I'm the highest rank I can be with the Flames, but was wondering one thing.
If I change to Twin Adder or Maelstrom, do I keep my rank and flame seals if I wanted to change back again after?
So in theory i could level up all three to full rank to get the minions and barding etc then change back to Immortal Flames after?
Yes you keep your rank with your previous Grand Company but you do start at the bottom with the new GC.
This, can limit some of the options you have available, such as Expert Provisioning, until rank up in the new GC.
After your first GC transfer, it will cost you 50K gil to transfer again.
Additionally, you are locked into the new GC for a minimum of 15 days. So, cannot immedately switch back to the old GC.

it'll take me like 15 days to rank up and get enough seals and stuff for the barding and minions anyways :D
