Unique item storage

As more and more unique and untradable items get added to the game, it's beginning to neutralize the effect of simplifying the repair process... which had cut my inventory usage by 20 slots following the 1.18 update. Since these items can take quite a bit of work and collaboration to acquire, I don't really want to throw them out. But when you factor in dozens of these items (either high-end gear or festival items), along with your regular gear for multiple jobs, crafting supplies, food, repair items, and all the +X items that don't stack with your normal supplies, it leaves me nearly maxed out on my inventory space, even with 2 retainers.

I'd greatly appreciate it if NPCs for unique item storage could be created, just like in FFXI. The NPC would need to be available in every town, but unlike the NPCs in FFXI, they would need to accept one of every unique and untradable item in the game, not just select ones.

Honestly, this would help me with my inventory management more than a simple "gobbie bag" expansion... although that would be welcome, too. ;)

I think this is why they provide the option of multiple retainers. SE feels you should BUY that privilege, not have it handed to you. Basically, if you need more space to store the stuff that you willingly decided you want, buy another retainer for 1$.

I know that many will disagree with this, but above all else, SE is in the business of making money, and convenience comes at a price. They put the "purchase extra retainers" system in place for a reason.

That's fine... but the last time I checked, you can't buy additional retainers. So for now, I'm stuck juggling only a few open inventory slots.

You can't buy them anymore? O_o

Well then yeah, that's retarded until they open it back up lol

Item really do build up to quickly. Having all the crafts and mats for each plus equipment for classes takes up so much space.
