Thinking of getting into FL -- bard or paladin more useful?

Hi all,
I've been thinking of getting into FL and wonder which job is more useful? I've played about 5 matches just for fun, and usually find bard to be a little better at contributing by focusing the healers/BLMs to interrupt their healing and free nuking. Paladin I try to cover/ten...whatever healers and melee who get close to them, but it seems I need a whole new set of gear (STR) to be of any dps use.

Any opinions on which would be more beneficial to teammates in FL? I'm not looking to be a solo person, but to contribute the most I can to a win. Also any hints/tips to ether job would be most welcome! Thanks!!

Consider your are a member of Twin Adder, I would recommand you to play as Paladin because Twin Adder is lacking of durable tank for flag capture.

Both classes are useful and depending on what you have in your party being able to change between them is a powerful capability.

Common tips:

• Limit your dead stats - You only need so much Acc and you also want to get as much Crit, Det and even Skill Speed as possible. Avoid gear with Parry, Acc and Morale unless it is your only current source of Det/Crit/SSpeed for that slot.
• Knockbacks (Blastshot and Gloryslash) can be instant kills.
• Fight inside the circle when possible.
• Equip your PvP skills - Purify is a must.
• Use Purify to stop sleeping.
• Mark the Enemy healers when you can.

Paladin Tips:

• Shield Swipe is powerful - Pacification shuts down all DoW classes.
• Stoneskin your allies.
• Cover and Testudo your Healers.
• Make sure the physical damage dealers know who you hit with Fullswing.
• Gloryslash strips a buffs from those it hits - This can make killing Scholars easier.
• Known how to time your stuns to get the most out of that lock down window.
• Use Tempered Will to free yourself from Binds and Heavy.
• Properly built Str and Vit Paladins can kill any non-healer 1v1.
