error 406/401/601
Yes I'll make another thread about it just to make it clear that square isn't doing jack shit about it. I've gotten an e-mail saying "Thank you for using the Square Enix Account Management System. This e-mail has been sent to inform you that an error occurred when processing payment for FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn. As a result, automatic renewal has been suspended for your account."
My bank has already THREE 1 dollar pending charges from square already trying to renew my subscription. Every time I try to renew on mogstation all I get is error 401/406/or 601. Buying Crysta is a stupid option I don't even know why that's there... I would buy a game card if they had a 1 month option with entry level price! I don't want to pay 2 dollars extra to pay for options I will ever use! Everyone who's having this problem make your own thread and flood this forum just to let square know this is a problem that needs to be fix ASAP!!!!

I'm having the same issue since today. At first I thought it was an issue with my credit card, but I am able to purchase things with it anyway. Hell I just added 5 bucks on my steam wallet with it.
And yes, error code 406 etc.

I opened a support ticket with se about it and I'm still waiting for a response. (I have 8 $1.15 charges on my card now too)
I ended up getting a gametime card but now I can't use my extra retainers and they're holding all the items hostage on them....

Likewise Silverstorm. i have 6 $1 charges, and was forced to buy a time card. luckily i don't have your retainer issue though. they need go fix this asap

I made a call to FE earlier today, I was told they will look into my situation as to why I currently cannot buy anything on the 'Mog Station'. I was told I would also be refunded all of the £1.00 payments which have come out of my account as 'service charges' although my payments did not go through due to errors: 401 and 406. I am now awaiting a reply via email or phone call with a conclusion and solution to my issue.
I will keep this thread updated with my outcome. ;)

I hope they actually do something for you. most of us get no replies. but if they can fix yours they can fix ours with some patch maybe. i don't have time to wait on SE to answer my call for 9 hours though

Lol I'm gonna call today. Haven't heard back from support, my card is still somehow "not registered correctly" but now there's $10.35 charged on it.

From my experiences with running businesses, in my honest opinion.. It seems their system may have wiped many payment details and now the system is rejecting them.. They need to get on this asap and do a maintenance on all payment options. Happened once with a company I was involved with (not mentioning names) and they had to trash the whole system and reinstall new servers, took around 9 days for it to be up and running correctly again.. I hope this is not the case though - As I have just come back from a weeks vacation and I am craving my Scholar aha.. :(
