15 Step 100% no-food 1-Star Rotation

I know that, by now, almost all endgame crafters already have a 100% rotation that they like for one-star crafts, but I wanted to share mine anyway. Even though I have max melds, the new accessories, and all Artisan tools, 95% of my crafts are one-star items (or i45-49, which is similar). So, I wanted a one-button macro that would succeed 100% of the time with no food, even with a Poor condition on Byregot's Blessings, so I wouldn't have to pay attention at all when crafting (previously, my 100% macro was 17 steps, requiring two macro buttons, and it was only ~90% on a Poor condition Byregot's).

Using a crafting simulator, this rather odd macro was the most optimal one I could come up with that was only 15 steps:

10. Ingenuity/Ingenuity II**

* Innovation is here because I could not fit it later. Using one Steady Hand and one Ingenuity for both final touch actions was difficult to arrange, and the simulator I was using showed that Ingenuity increased the touch actions far more than Innovation would. If I moved the Innovation to just before the Steady Hand, it would buff the Advanced Touch, but that was less of a gain than hitting the three earlier Touches. So, oddly enough, this placement was an optimal way to eke out as much Quality as possible without spending Durability.

** Ingenuity was good enough for me when I first made this macro. I was getting 101 progress with Careful Synthesis II under Ingenuity, and I could make it with my 348 CP. Then, when I made and melded my Demimateria equips, my CP shot up enough (by 6) that I could switch Ingenuity for Ingenuity II. The advantage to Ingenuity II is it saves me a cross-class skill slot so I don't have to juggle skills between three-star and non-three-star crafts.

Maybe it is, but it's faster than my old one, has bits you can take out if you're low on CP (the Innovation early on, for instance), but it 100%s even when I get poors on both Great Strides touches. It even often HQs things when lag hits me at crucial times causing me to miss important things (as long as it isn't the Ingenuity).

Also, I wrote this for me, I just wanted to share it. I happen to have all Artisan's (no Supras) with max melds on all but my offhands, I'm using melded gloves and not Ixali gloves, and I have 3 CP on all my offhands. I just wanted a guaranteed one-button macro, and that's what this is.

It's a nice rotation and stone soup is dirt cheap. Just got to remember to use it... oops...

Thanks for the info! So are you saying your Offhand Tool is *only* 3 CP Melded? Or that's in addition to other melds on it? (Just curious if you have Tier IV Crafts or Control on them etc.). Thanks.

I happen to have at least 3 ctrl/craft in each offhand as well. They shouldn't be required for the full rotation (with Ingenuity II), given that I get 148+ progress out of 195 per Careful Synthesis II. With Ingenuity, I was getting only about 101 progress. I don't have the exact numbers on hand. I do know that with far lower craft (the bare minimum for 2*, I think?), you can get 98+ progress from CS2 under Ing2. Meaning, the rotation should work just fine if you have the CP for it. If you're not at max CP, drop the Innovation (or downgrade Ingenuity II to Ingenuity if you have enough Craft) and it should be fine.

Thanks for the useful rotation. I don't have anywhere near as much CP as you do, but it seems adding Comfort Zone at the beginning of the rotation did the trick for me.

So, the rotation in the OP takes 353 CP with Ingenuity II (345 with Ingenuity). If you want to save CP with the rotation as written, just drop the first Advanced Touch to Standard or Basic. That'll save a ton. Again, I took my stats and CP value, plugged them into a simulator, and fiddled for a while until I obtained the maximum possible quality in only 15 100% actions. It's likely excessive, and you can likely make simple modifications to it to suit your needs/stats if you want to.

If you have very low stats (relatively speaking) but can still two-shot the synth under Ingenuity II, try this:

If you don't need Ingenuity II and can use Ingenuity, just swap Ingenuity II out for Ingenuity in the original macro. That'll cost you 345 CP exactly.

Note that this is not my rotation. I found it here somewhere, but forget whose it is. Also, I dunno if it's the best or if it's 100% on a poor BB, but it's been good enough for me. The thing is, for me, I don't mind NQ 1* items because I can use them just as well as HQ for 99% of crafts. It's only three stars and turn-in tokens where I need HQ base ingredients. Generally, the macro I use for 1* materials is two steps: Ingenuity II, Careful Synthesis II.
