waiting for the PS3 version...

Dissassembled it completely, removed all dust, changed the crappy sony thermal paste on CELL and RSX with my beloved Artic MX-4 (because a shiny chip is a good chip), reassembled. The baby runs as cool and smooth as the wind. It's ready for FFXIV.

I'll be awaiting good news at the Tokyo Game Show, Yoshida-san, make me smile :cool:

Did you disassemble the Slim or the Phatty?

Brave of you. I'd never even consider taking my PS3 apart. I hope you aren't expecting news about FF XIV at TGS because i doubt that will happen.

Why did you get your ps3 rdy now? It will be dusty again by the time ps3 version launches.

We shall see, we shall see. Yoshida restarted to talk about the PS3 version recently, after a long, long silence. Things normally happen with a reason, and it's not like they're going to make an announcement saying "it's going to be in stores tomorrow".
When they're going to announce it, it's gonna be no less than 6 months from it's release still.

And it was an old 60 gigs model.

We all want the PS3 version to come out. Why? Because that means the game will have been fixed by then and there will be a bigger community. Don't expect the PS3 version to come out before Summer 2012. This game still has a long way to go before it's fixed.

So you say. Doesn't make it true :D

Considering the current state of the game and what is announced to come in just two months, I would say 7 months are plenty to bring the game to where it needs to be.

I'm not even using the word "fixed", because it's plenty "fixed" by now. "broken" games are whole different pair of sleeves.

Summer 2012 is pretty much sci-fi.

They cant even announce patches on time. they are already talking 1.18a with no confirmed date, ho long will that put 1.19 behind. The end of summer plans have definitely turned into end of year plans as it is now. You say your ps3 is rdy for ff14, i say its rdy for the closet, lol. Only time will tell.
