Beastman Strongholds

A tiny 20x20 ft fence holding 20 beastmen is not a beastman stronghold. They are more like the house of the 3 little pigs. It's not like they look like they are guarding it too. They are more just like in a cage.

Castle Oztroja was a beastman stronghold.
Davoi was a beastman stronghold.
Castle Zvahl was a beastman stronghold.
Whats the quadav place I forgot?

They are entire zones with nothing but beastman tribe in it. Putting 20 beastmen in a tiny little spot and calling it a stronghold is just lazy. You can pretty much kill all of them at one with arrow helix.

Infact the actual ones are Settlements, not Strongholds :P Strongholds will be added in 1.19.

When did the devs say these were the strongholds? From what I remember they said these were beastmen encampments with the strongholds in upcoming updates.

So very true.
I'm quite disappointed with these little huts with 30 mobs surrounding them. I expected a whole region such as examples you pointed out.
Same issue with the npc settlements as well and camps.
They all need to be redone.
It's more frustrating to have something introduced not meeting the expectations than not having anything at all.

PS. Though i do recall reading strongholds coming in future, even settlements could use more size, detail and creativity.

I was more upset over the fact that the dev team said the village outposts would have "so much to do you wouldn't want to leave them."

Maybe 1.19 but... if it was 1.18 blegh...

i went to hut couple times and noone was there, is there any reason to be at them ? lol they kind of small and boring.

No idea why i reply to things like this, but here we are.

They said the outposts were just being implemented this patch, content would come later.

Strongholds are not the minor settlements we have now, they're completely different and likely to be a much bigger deal.

I honestly just wish people would stop bitching, read what the devs have actually said before making posts like this, and recognise the futility of complaining about content that's been partially implemented.
