Please don't make us choose between anima and content

Perhaps this is a slightly different perspective on the travel issue or the implementation of leves. Either way it's a conflict I don't think is helpful for the game.

Often I find I have to give up doing leves I want because I simply don't have anima and really detest running to every single camp.

* I want to be complete in taking advantage of leves
* I don't believe the tradeoff requiring me running around so much is worth it

I hope to add to the argument that I'm really a patient guy by saying that I have a rank 46 fisherman.

If you don't wanna run in an MMORPG then it probably isn't a game for you.

Wait for airships and chocobo's..maybe that will help with your problems.
But anima isn't designed for players who play allot, it's for for the people who play casually, and way less often, and don't really need to worry about blowing through 100 anima too quickly.

This is just the unfortunate consequence of having transportation in 1.19 and not in 1.18; and the poor zone designs of the world. I know it is hard, and I think most of us relate to your situation. Completing my leves takes so many hours, and most of it is just run time rather than combat.

Transportation should make this much better.

They should get rid of Anima and make it so you can only use your teleport ability once every 15 minutes. And they should add mounts so that teleporting is really something special but you're still able to fairly quickly get around on your chocobo.

Hopefully your patience can carry you to 1.19 where we get Airships and Chocobos, I strongly believe they will alleviate this issue.

I hope airships and mounts will greatly alleviate my frustrations. I just wanted to be sure the devs know that I don't simply want chocobos because they're cool (which they are), but I believe there's a poor gameplay situation where we're required to spend too much time walking around.

chocobo is relative fast

Airships will dramatically reduce time between cities, chocobos from cities to camps (hopefully) anima will finally serve the intended purpose of allowing players who play infrequently to travel quickly, and those of us who play often, to travel somewhere very fast in a situation where we need to.
