Didn't they say we will hear about the Expansion at the Fan Fest?

Yes I know " FFXIV ARR" is probably what it's under. But he told us several times that it would be at Fan Fest in Las Vegas! So why hide it? Unless he changed his mind and it's not there now?

It's a live letter, the fan fest won't be only this.

Pretty much this. The expansion will more than likely get it's own big announcement at the Fan fest. Although, if they do anything like XI fanfests did, the information no matter how little it is, will likely be spread throughout the 3 i.e. We'll get a title, location, and maybe Yugiri's race at the NA one, a job at the EU one and a Job at the japan one. I doubt it will be that much information combined in the the end.

Ah okay, I just assumed The Expansion would be apart of the live letter ( who knows maybe it still will). I just got scared when the " theme" wasn't on the list :P.

The live letter is regarding patch 2.4. The live letter discussing 3.0 won't come till much later (well after 2.5). They said they may make a small mention about the expansion during the Fan Fest. 2.4 is what's on the horizon though, so that's the main focus.
