Concerning up coming addition of chocobos!!

Hi all,

Just few thoughts about the upcoming adition of chocobos!

1. Please do not make them run away upon dismount.
a. either make them rentable for a 24 hour period
b. or make them purchasable and may be even levelable.

2. Give them slots that we can use to store gear. I hate having to go to my retainer everytime i want optimal gear. Especially considering i usually am leveling DoW/DoM, DoL and a DoH at the same time during leves.

These ideas mught already be done, but thought i would mention it just in case.

I think it may be better to ask the Devs how exactly the chocobo system is to work. I think they may be past this stage in the development of the system, If a Dev could clarify on this thread that would be great. *crosses fingers for a response*

We will have our own chocobos in a future patch(probably 1.2), this upcoming patch is just for renting them (1.19). I'm sure they are going to do some awesome things with them. Hopefully chocobo knight :P

They already said they will be in their most basic form in 1.19 with additions added later. They are going to be rentable only at first, which means more than likely runaway like 11 and a limited time on using :P

Hmmm. Very good point!! Hey Dev Team, can we get hint out how the chocobos will work when they are added?

I want them to be just like 11.
But having them wander around "nearby" for a minute or two after you dismount sounds awesome!

Yea wander about near you, or atleast allow you to talk to npc's or such while on chocobo.

Is it odd I want the rental price from XI back. "OMG WHY HAS EVERYONE BEEN IN TARONGI CANYON TODAY, CHOCOBOS ARE 1k damn aybssea expanions -.-"
