When you switch GC, and you are rank 40, can you still wear the pvp gear?

Since this pvp gear isn't GC tied. unlike the GC gear you cannot wear anymore.

Hm i am not sure but i would say you can wear it after switching GC.

I think switching GC resets your PvP rank, doesn't it?

Sadly its not possible.

I changed from rank 40 Maelstrom to rank 0 Immortal Flames for 15 days last month.
I noticed that if you wear the pvp gear while you take it off or try to wear ranked pvp gear it cant be equipped again.

I'm assuming its because the system completely ignores the fact you have rank 40 on another GC.

Now this was before 2.38 I don't know if it has changed since the update though.

GC rank is reset because of achievement also. Howler, Hound and Growler all achievement for rank in GC PVP.

Because of this, PVP rank reset if switch company and all gear unusable as PVP rank is now count as Rank 1.

If you keep your gear equipped you can still use it, but if you change your gear you can not wear your gear anymore.

this is the correct answer. i just didn't want to be the one to say it lol.

You have to be the rank of the item, since pvp gear isn't tie to a GC.
