Chocobo Companion while in DF Queue

Would be nice. am leveling a bit of DPS and while I wait around for the queue to pop I do fates. Unfortunately, my Chocobo has to remain withdrawn while in a queue. I remember the annoying days of not being able to mount up while having your chocobo out as a companion.. so any chance we'll be able to do this for Duty Finder queues?

I think it's on the "to do" list of the dev team, I vaguely remember them saying this will be supported eventually, but I really think this should have been from the start.

Also I wonder when we'll be able to enter instances with our chocobo buddies.

they said its difficult to handle because chocobos count as full party members. Its normal that you cant queue with party members, so it doesnt work and they dont know how to change it

They need to remove them as party members. One thing I find funny is they are "party members" and yet when I cast protect I see it hit them but has no effect, but I can cure, stoneskin, and regen them. It is really just another one of their broken systems.

This is one of the most annoying things in the game. Just now I had been in the queue so long I forgot I was queuing, ran into a fate, summoned my bird and was kicked from the queue. Since I get the chance to confirm my entry before the duty start, as long as I leave ANY party I am in before clicking proceed then this shouldn't be a problem. Why does the game care what state I am in ( in party or not) while I am just on a list of people waiting?

This is just another really lazy implementation.

it was meant to happen in 2.3

but they chose to introduce some pvp fluff (front lines) instead.
