Soulglazing for PLD shield not registering

I'm a PLD on Siren server. Since patch 2.38 came out, I have been diligently farming light for the soul attunement progress required to upgrade my Novus Curtana and Novus Shield to Nexus. Immediately after the servers came back up following the patch, I immediately went to North Shroud to start the quest, and I followed the dialogue and unlocked soulglazing. I chose to soulglaze BOTH my sword and my shield, and immediately started farming. A few hours ago, I finished the attunement process by earning the required number of light points, and went to upgrade to Nexus. It allowed me to upgrade the sword, but not my shield. It said I had never soulglazed the shield in the first place. Idk when the "soulglaze" somehow fell off, or if it didn't actually register, but I spent a LOT of time farming for my Nexus, and to basically be told that i will have to do it all over again, i am justifiably upset about it. I have been a PLD main since i first subscribed to FFXIV, over a year ago. I have been diligent about making sure that both my relic sword and my relic shield have both been ready for the following upgrades in each respective process through the Zodiac questline. This was not something I overlooked, i KNOW i put the soulglaze on both sword and shield. I'm not sure if this is the correct place to take my inquiry, but I'd like to request that I be given credit for the shield upgrade if possible. I've had Novus sword and shield for a while before the patch came out, this is in no way intended to be illegitimate. I put the effort in and earned my Nexus weapons, I'd ike to benefit from both of them, not get screwed over because of some bug (or whatever it is).
