lost 100k worth of mats because of bug in manipulation.

i am not a rich player by any means and today i managed to get hold of enough hardened sap to craft some treated spruce logs. I sadly lost my mats because of a bug in manipulation. I know I used it because it was in my logs.

 You gain the effect of Well Fed.
You use Comfort Zone.
 You gain the effect of Comfort Zone.
You use Inner Quiet.
 You gain the effect of Inner Quiet.
You use Steady Hand II.
 You gain the effect of Steady Hand II.
You use Waste Not.
 You gain the effect of Waste Not.
You gain the effect of Inner Quiet.
You gain the effect of Inner Quiet.
Those two inner quests were when I got a stack from successful synths. 2/4 failed and I still had 20 durability because of waste not.
You lose the effect of Steady Hand II.
You lose the effect of Waste Not.
Since I had 2 stacks of comfort zone I used careful synthesis 2 which leaves me with 10 durability since waste not has worn off,
You use Manipulation.
 You gain the effect of Manipulation.

Then I had manipulation for the next 3 moves I gain 10 durability, since I still had one stack of comfort zone I decided to do carefull synthesis again since it would bring me near to 100% and give me TP for the quality, instead I ended up with 0 durability. I didn't know you could run out of durability while manipulation is up. Isn't this some kind of bug?

That's not a bug. It's not something transparent but manipulation restores durability after your action. If you hit 0 first, at any point, your item breaks before manipulation takes effect. If you plan on using it, you always have to use it at 20/40 or 20/80.

As lyrinn stated u want to use it at 20 dur but.... It is possible to use at 10 durability u just need to make sure that u don't use any progress or quality actions. If u use steady hand or tricks of the trade or even observe it will work at 10 dur.

It´s not a Bug, it´s a feature...

jeah, as annoying as it sounds, just like Comfort Zone, the gain applies after the skill hits.
