Before I go to the trouble, I wanted to see if it was possible. I am a fate from completing my Curtana Atma. Now I have seen countless Curtana Atma and I have to say I like the look of the Zenith much better. Since I cannot buy one to glamour my Atma with, would it be possible to just buy a regular Curtana from the calamity salvager and throw a couple bottles of mist on it? In other words will the game allow me to remake my zenith so I may glamour over my new atma?
Yes you can. Just turn the required items to receive a zenith after upgrading your first to the atma version.

IIRC, you can get a regular Curtana from the Calamity vendor so long as you've had one before (which, obviously, you have). Just that, three bottles of mist, and you're good.
Done this with PLD and WAR so far. When doing your books and you come across another Atma Fate, quick swap of weapons without changing jobs and waiting for that 30 second cool down is well worth it as well.
The animus looks pretty cool tho ---->> as does the novus and nexus.....ahh why did I stop maining PLD UGHHHHH
I think this is neat, but the only thing I lament about this is that (provided the game allowed this to happen) I would have to turn in the 12 Atma for a weapon I already have at a later stage if I want to retain the non-glow of the Atma.

--also I just saw a video of the Bravura Nexus and I dislike the massive glow and the direction the runes are spiraling, so now I really do want to keep my Atma if at all possible.
