Hi there, recently got all of my crafts to 50, and have only melded gsm without 2.3 gear. I now plan to work on my books. One thing I've noticed is a lot of the 2 star rotations are with NQ mats in mind, but require pretty high stats that as a newly leveled player I currently can not reach. I am able to HQ 1 star 100% of the time(provided no poor). I also see there are a lot of 1 star HQ rotations going around too.
Are there any 2 star rotations that would require HQ mats instead, if only until I can get my various books? I feel this might help other newly leveled players in my situation who don't want to meld gear they'll just replace with the new 2.3 items.

Since I'm too cheap to buy materia, most of my lvl 50 DoH classes are not melded, so I always use HQ mats to get a jump on things. The ones that I need to buy can be expensive, but if I buy a stack of them and only use a couple. I'll just resell the stack at a higher price so I basically break even on buying stuff.

Do it manually using he "Hasty Method" if you have bad stats.
