Dear Square Enix, please consider this proposal.

We're all probably more than familiar with the shout channel spam that has come with Behemoth and Odin, and now much more frequently with the A Rank and S Rank hunt trains.

The spam can be pretty frustrating, not to mention the lag that is created shortly after.

Since the hunt trains and the ensuing "LFP"/"Please invite me." spam is akin to a flock of sheep looking for a sheep herder, I propose adding a new sound effect to the game. A bleeting sound, so that we can do away with those frustrating moments and laugh instead.

Imagine the hundreds of people bleeting as they move through zones. "Baaaa baaaa baaa baaaa baaaaaaaa."

Um what exactly is your issue? The spam creating lag for you? Really? What system are you using that it creates this so called lag and what is your proposal?

Relax guy, it's a joke.

Also the lag from hundreds of players cramming into single zones during peak times is a very real problem, and causes people to lose connection to the server. But that's beside the point. I'm making fun of the train. Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

I fully endorse this and would like to see it implemented immediately. Followed by Shepherd class, and ability to shear other players' hair for dailies.

It is funny watching a quiet zone burst with LFP spam for like 3 mins then instantly quiet down again.

I like the spam... I hate sitting in a hunt party waiting to find something, now I see shouts as I'm levelling a craft and quickly change to tank and join a party

One of the Ixal quests has you go up to a croc in Coerthas and shave off its beard. No battle or anything, just go up to it, take its beard, and walk away. I figure this is a placeholder until they get the actual shepherd class in. >_> Shepherd in 3.0, can I have it? <_<

Shepherd was actually the planned 1.0 third Disciple of Land.
Gathered from local wildlife, things like milk, honey, wool, eggs, etc.
Was axed in Alpha 2, I believe?

Any Alpha 1 1.0 players ever play/hear about SHP?

In all seriousness though, a 'seeking party' tag displayed next to your name like in FFXI would be very useful for this sort of stuff.

Yeah, sometimes you just take it in stride. A couple of times when it's a little too quiet I've called out a blatantly fake coordinate to see what happens. Like "Tripod SS+ Rank - The Hunt - <insertcoordsthatleaddirectlytome>."

It's amazing to see 50 odd people show up.

That would have actually been pretty cool. On a more serious note, with the introduction of Chocobo Stables and the ability to train not only your own, but other people's Chocobos, I really want to see the title "Chocokeeper" as a reward, as well as the Chocokeeper mask. If they could add that I would be so happy.
