is there anyway to delete

the character presets you save for appearance? i kinda want to get rid of some of mine that i dont like anymore

I think the only way to change that is to use a Fantasia potion.

they mean the save appearance data from the character creation screen. not how their actual character looks.

If by delete presets you mean delete the ones you can load when you create a new character or use a fantasia potion, you can just delete the files. My Games -> FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn -> files are named FFXIV_CHARA_01.dat, _02.dat, etc. etc. The numbers correspond with the numbers that appear in the list, so just check ingame which ones you want to get rid of, and delete accordingly.

That is, assuming you're not on a console. If so, I have no idea.

You can overwrite them but I do not know about delete
