make the vote kick party member trolls pay a heavier price

Today 3 times I was kicked from doing end-game content even before the duty began using duty finder.. Please Dev's you need to address this issue and make the penalties harsher for players that use the vote to kick party members as a way to harass and/or limit other players access to content. How is anyone going to play any of the end-game content if players are getting kicked from parties for no reason before the duty begins?....This is really making me mad and causing legit players like me who have to constantly worry about this from the players and their friends who use the option as a way to harass others. Please Devs do something about this I have been at a stand still in game content because of this.

as much as i agree with you i doubt they will do anything some people are just pompous ass pricks and do it because they believe they are better then other and dont realize that they had to learn at one point also

I totally agree with this thread. There should be penalties for kicking pt members out.

If a dismissal vote passes the player kicked should receive a message saying why and by whom the vote was initiated. You are even asked to supply the name of the initiating player as part of filing the complaint, so there is no reason to keep this secret. Players just hide behind the anonymity.

The tool really needs to be changed so that 'weak link' is an option. The GMs seems to accept that this is a fair use of the tool, but if a player isn't cheating, harassing, afk or offline then it's abuse of the tool to use it to kick them. I pointed that out to the GM and they agreed that a weak link option makes sense and asked me to raise it here in the forums. I don't want to encourage players with no patience to kick the ones who would naturally stick it out, but if there is a tacit admission by the devs that this is a proper use of the tool, why not make it explicit? (I made that point to a GM and they asked me to post it here.)

Whilst I agree changes need made as some do abuse it, I'd question anyone who can get kicked that much without a valid reason.
Three times in a single day doesn't sound like trolling sounds like genuine reason to do so

Possibly gear ilevel ... which isn't a genuine reason. Thread starter said that he queued through duty finder and was kicked before the run began ... on endgame content ilevel seems like the most likely scenario, but the devs set the ilevel needed for material, not some guy who only likes to run with overgeared characters.

Always two sides though, a post last month some guy kept complaining about being vote kicked, I was in a party with him and he was beyond rude to people, yet cried victim on forums, so yes I'm sceptical if it happened three times in a day

I thought you couldn't vote dismiss until after 15 minutes or something? 5 minutes?

If you actually can be kicked before the duty even starts, I agree that that's an abuse of the dismiss feature.

Not necessarily, I have been in situations where someone started on someone else before the circle dropped, so, while I agree it is most likely rare it does happen.

I also am skeptical about someone crying wolf that has been kicked three times in 1 day.

Keeping the initiating character anonymous protects players from 'payback' situations. People who are kicked are not always kicked fairly. You have the ability to submit a ticket to have it reviewed. The GM's are able to see who initiated the kick and will take appropriate actions should they need to.

One 'Devil's Advocate' thought for The person kicked three times. It is possible that you have selected a name similar to someone who has caused multiple issues. Not sure if this is what happened, but unless you were really obnoxious, that seems a logical hypothesis.
