Personal Rooms, Refund?

So was wondering if you leave your room do you get the 300k back or is it forever in FFXIV fake NPC economy limbo?

It will be gone :)

Something that irks me with all housing related things.

If you give up your land. Its like you never existed on it.

I can understand not being able to sell a house from player to player. But not getting a nickel back from the NPC you bought it from kinda is meh

iF you get evicted from a land you get shiit back.

They should at least give you the option to sell it back to the NPC for half the ammount or a 3rd because the land lost value the day you moved on to it.

Thanks for the answers. I do agree there should be some sort of sell back feature for rooms and land. They are trying to emulate real life in a virtual world so why is the feature not there, especially on something that is so expensive?

Hmmm Yoshi mentioned something the other day that might show a future idea - or just a mistranslation...

I imagine it's literally selling land to players, considering that was a promised feature. I specifically remember him mentioning it as a feature so that we can trade land permits in order to live next door to friends and whatnot.
